Windows & Doors By Brownell offers window and door installation services throughout the winter months, often at a discounted rate. Here’s a few reasons why it works!
WINTER DAYS
Many winter days are good for window installation; like days that are sunny, above freezing, and mild! We use products meant for the cold. Flexibility is a must for qualifying projects.
ACTUAL TIME
Actual time of when an old window is pulled out and the new one is set in place is relatively short. Meaning the home is open to the elements for a very limited amount of time
OUR CREW
All of our Installation Technicians are fully insured, year-round employees. Our goal is to keep them productive even in the winter months, which means no layoffs for our crew.

Our professional winter installations are completed by our staff of Installed Technicians.
Minimized heat loss by closing off each room and careful prep before old window is removed.
We use a variety of professionally recommended materials that are rated for cold weather applications.
Most jobs are completed in a day or two with thorough clean up after installation.

Seasonal Considerations:
Substantial completion excludes weather-sensitive items (IE exterior painting etc), which will be scheduled during warmer months at Windows & Doors By Brownell’s discretion.

Windows & Doors By Brownell reserves the ability to select appropriate work days during the winter months for the safety of our employees and also the best interests of the homeowner’s property.
Not every window replacement project is suitable for winter work, due to a home’s physical location, the location of the window/door on the home, and the safety of our staff, just to name a few! Appropriate projects for Winter Installation are determined at the discretion of Windows & Doors By Brownell. Never fear, your project may not qualify for Winter Installation, but it can be installed in the spring, simmer and fall months (assuming the home is within our installed sales and service area).
Winter conditions are often unpredictable. Flexibility in scheduling an installation date and times is a must. We will set a temporary install date but may need to change that date a week (or even a few days) before the installation is supposed to take place. Due to this variability, we offer our winter installation services at highly discounted rates!
To participate in the current Winter Installation Promotion:
- 10% deposit is due at time of agreement (Visa, Mastercard, cash or check)
- 2nd Payment due at order date:
- Projects under $20,000, 40% is due at product order date (cash or check)
- Projects over $20,000, 25% is due at product order date (cash or check)
- Final remainder of balance is due at the time of installation start date. Projects will be completed to substantial completion. (see below for more information)
Substantial completion excludes exterior caulking, painting, and other weather sensitive items. These punch list items will be delayed until the warmer months of spring at the discretion of Windows & Doors By Brownell.
