On a cloudy January evening, we hosted our first Panes & Pints Event of 2016! New for this year, we added an accredited AIA HSW/LU presentation. A great time was had by all at Zero Gravity Brewery (located on Pine Street, Burlington). In the casual environment, we sipped on tasty micro brews, tasted delicious snacks, networked and learned about some great new features of Marvin & Integrity products.
The afternoon portion of Panes & Pints was dedicated to our architects. The accredited AIA HSW/LU presentation was on ‘Performance Characteristics of Pultuded Fiberglass in the Building Industry’. Ben from AW Hastings gave the presentation and focused on the strength, durability and thermal efficiency of pultruded fiberglass. He gave an in-depth look at the manufacturing processes and environmental advantages of fiberglass as a window and door material.
After the AIA credit portion was completed, our builders and contractors poured into the brewery, sampled tasty appetizers from Bevo Catering and enjoyed one of the many delicious microbrews. Ben got back up to give a quick run-down on new products and features from Marvin and Integrity. Including multi-slide scenic doors, the color and finishing options available from Marvin, as well as the benefits of added Marvin shades to any building project.
We love events like these. Here we can really get to know our builders and architects and show them why the services and products at Windows & Doors By Brownell can make their business that much better. We look forward to our next Panes & Pints scheduled for April 14th around our West Lebanon Showroom.
