Marvin Insert Replacement Project:
Units were installed from the exterior, which allowed them to sit flush with the existing interior blind stops. Interior trims were untouched.
Marvin Specs: Clad Ultimate Double Hung Inserts. Bronze clad exterior, Primed pine interior, 2 over 2 Simulated Divided Lites, Satin Taupe hardware, LE2 with Argon glazing.
Old units required homeowners to use storm windows; new units do not require storms, which have provided the homeowner with more light transmittance. New Marvin’s have also reduced noise from the street.
